The evidence record and its versions

On this page. Three things are on this page. First, the versions of the shared evidence record: two are seeded, and evidence is never edited, so a funder switches which version is active, with a typed confirmation, for every workspace at once. Second, once the sponsor's answers were added on Intake, a third version with the badge "sponsor statement, not verified" and, under "How the answers were read", a line for what was taken from each answer. Third, the switch itself.

Try this. As funder, type the new version's id to confirm and make it active, then open Evaluation: the Additionality check now reads the sponsor's count of lender declines, and its reference is marked as a sponsor statement, while a question the sponsor left unanswered stays open. Nobody checked the answers; the funder decides what a sponsor's statement is worth. That version has no draft yet, so switch back to version 1 before you go on, unless you generate a draft for it at the next stop.

Riverbend Housing Note: evidence versions

Every check and every quote in the draft memo reads one version of this record. New material, such as a sponsor's answers, arrives as a new version; a funder then chooses which version is in use. What is being proposed: the deal.

The deal and its evidence record are shared by every funder workspace. Switching the active evidence version changes what every workspace evaluates, drafts from and attests. Attestations bound to another version stay visible and printable, unchanged, and are marked stale on evidence.

Switch the active version

In use now: version 1. Switching changes what every funder workspace evaluates, at once. It is refused if someone else switched after this page loaded. A version with no draft memo can be put in use; until a draft is written from it, nothing can be reviewed or attested.

Technical details

Evidence is never edited in place: each version is a separate immutable record with its own stored draft, and the active version is an explicit pointer on the deal.
